He doesn’t abandon figuration in his artistic work but give it an additional dimension and recognizability intertwining it into new media in a special way. He is well known for his realistic painting style in rich colour that he uses to depict scenes from the landscape where he depicts green, magical and fairytale nature as well as realistic portraits with extremely fresh and contemporary themes through which the viewer explore a thousand stories about the painted face and about its background story. Eugen Varzić lives and works in Istria, Croatia.
